ABOUT
Over the past four years, the Peer City Convening has been meeting to share innovative policy ideas to help solve the affordability and social equity crisis we face across our North American cities.

Started.
Peer City Convening
Founded in 2018, The Peer City Convening was initially organized as a meet-up between cities in the Pacific Northwest to share ideas around equity and resilience. When the pandemic hit in 2020 and exposed many underlying system faults, particularly in the area of housing, the forum moved online and started to meet on a monthly basis.

The group is now made up of city staff, academics and advocates sharing ideas focused on anti-displacement housing, access to permanent and affordable housing for vulnerable communities, displacement risk indices, and equity across North American cities.
The group meets quarterly online. In addition to the meetings, we are creating a network of peers to advance this work together.
